Laundry Attendant

Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper handling of all hotel linens and guest laundry. If you have a keen eye for cleanliness and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

Duties:

• Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens and guest laundry according to established procedures
• Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
• Inspect linens for stains or damages and report any issues to the supervisor
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when reordering is necessary
• Ensure all laundry areas are clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Assist with other housekeeping duties as needed

Experience:

• Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting is preferred
• Knowledge of laundering techniques and proper handling of different fabrics
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
