Laundry Aide Job Posting Part-Time 5pm-9pm

Laundry Aide Position Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team. The Laundry Aide is responsible for ensuring residents' personal clothing, linens, and facility laundry are cleaned, sorted, and distributed in a timely manner while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident laundry and facility linens. Ensure residents' clothing is properly labeled and returned to the correct resident. Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry department. Report damaged clothing, equipment malfunctions, or supply needs to the supervisor. Assist with inventory and stocking of laundry supplies. Provide courteous and respectful service to residents, families, and staff. Adhere to all facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous laundry, housekeeping, or healthcare experience preferred but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods. Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable.
