Duties Operate laundry machines, including washers, dryers, and specialty equipment such as dry cleaning machines, ensuring proper use and maintenance. Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently, adhering to safety and quality standards. Inspect linens and garments for stains, damages, or irregularities; notify supervisors of any issues requiring special attention or repair. Perform cleaning tasks in laundry areas to maintain a safe, organized, and sanitary workspace. Handle delicate or specialty items with care, including dry cleaning processes when necessary. Record laundry processing details accurately in logs and tracking systems for accountability and inventory management. Assist with inventory control by monitoring supplies such as detergents, cleaning agents, and laundry accessories. Skills Proven experience with laundry operations, including the use of commercial washing machines and dryers. Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards. Familiarity with dry cleaning techniques is a plus. Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable to understand guest service expectations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts.
