Laundry Attendant

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience in our hotel environment. Responsibilities Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens and guest garments. Strip rooms and delivered dirty linens to laundry area. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store clean laundry items according to established procedures. Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by following sanitation guidelines and cleaning protocols. Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring all garments are handled with care. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items to various departments. Adhere to safety standards while operating equipment and handling cleaning chemicals. Experience Previous experience in a hotel laundry or dry cleaning environment is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with laundering techniques and equipment operation is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
