Laundry Attendant/Store Manager - In Training

Job Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laundry Attendant/Store Manager - In Training, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and ensuring the smooth operation of our laundry and dry cleaning services. This entry-level leadership position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in hospitality, customer service, and store management. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, managing daily operations, and supporting team members as you progress toward a managerial role. This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow within the hospitality and laundry industry. Starting Hours Tuesday 2-9 pm, Wednesay 2-9 pm and additional 10 hours throughout the week in various shifts. Once the person has a good understanding of the Managerial role and internal promotions occur this position will evolve into a salaried role with a higher rate of pay and have a minimum of 28 hours per week. More hours may be available to fill in when other employees are out. Pay $12/hr along with $25 laundry credit each month. We also offer quarterly incentive after 90 days.

Duties Perform laundry tasks with attention to quality and efficiency, including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and pressing garments Provide outstanding customer service by assisting clients with their laundry needs, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store environment, including cleaning equipment and work areas regularly Handle cash transactions accurately using cash handling and cashiering skills; process payments efficiently Support inventory management by tracking supplies, cleaning agents, and equipment maintenance needs Assist in training new team members on laundry procedures, customer service standards, and store operations Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating with colleagues and supporting store goals Experience Previous experience in hotel or hospitality settings is highly desirable Knowledge of laundry operations is a strong plus Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced environments Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify stains and damages effectively. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods. Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively. Good with technology Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and balancing registers accurately Experience with cleaning duties and maintaining hygiene standards in a commercial setting Familiarity with cashiering systems and cash handling procedures is preferred Willingness to learn store management responsibilities as part of your career development This role offers an exciting pathway into management while honing essential skills in customer service, operations, and hospitality.
