In this position, you will be responsible for folding and Delivering residents' clothing and facility linens while following health and safety guidelines. This role also helps keep our facility clean and ensures that residents are comfortable and well cared for. This is a full-time position scheduled for 37.5 hours per week. The schedule includes a shift from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Must be available to work rotating weekends. Employee Assistance Program Responsibilities:
Complete duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Supervisor. Fold and deliver clean linens to resident units. Monitor and report any maintenance concerns. Practice safe work habits to ensure the safety of residents and fellow employees. Follow infection control policies and procedures. Maintain a neat and professional appearance. Follow Maryville policies and respect the Residents' Bill of Rights. Complete required monthly in-services by the assigned due date.
Required Qualifications:
Ability to pass the criminal background check required of all campus employees. High school education or equivalent. Must be able to read, understand and speak English fluently. Ability to interact tactfully and respectfully with Maryville Residents, their guests, and other staff. Able to communicate, cooperate, and work as a team to finish the job in a timely matter. Able solve problems and work independently.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach, kneel, and extend arms as needed. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time. Ability to grip, push, and pull laundry carts. Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and up to 60 pounds occasionally. Must be able to carry, push, or pull heavy loads as required. We look forward to speaking with you about this opportunity.
