In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, freshness, and proper handling of linens, towels, and guest clothing. The ideal candidate will possess strong laundry and cleaning skills, with previous hotel experience being a valuable asset. Duties Operate laundry machines and equipment efficiently to process linens, towels, and guest clothing according to established standards. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure proper handling. Perform cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing laundry areas to maintain a hygienic environment. Handle delicate items with care, including dry cleaning procedures when necessary. Monitor inventory levels of detergents, cleaning supplies, and laundry chemicals; notify management when supplies need replenishment. Ensure all laundry is folded or hung neatly and stored appropriately for easy access by staff or guests. Follow safety protocols when handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents or injuries. Requirements Proven experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred. Knowledge of laundry techniques, including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and quality control. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently. Good physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads as required. Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
