The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring that the laundry operation is running at maximum efficiency levels. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for processing soiled linen and distributing clean linen in accordance with standard operating procedures in a safe, accident-free manner, as assigned by management. This position will assist the Housekeeping Staff by ensuring that they receive clean, pressed, stain free linen in a timely manner. The Laundry Attendant will clean and inspect the guest room linen to ensure that it meets quality standards. In addition, the Laundry Attendant will help maintain the laundry room in a clean and safe condition.

Education:

No formal education needed.

Experience:

Prior laundry experience desirable.

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to speak in language understood by guests and co-workers. Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.

Hours Required:

8 hours per shift; scheduled days and times may vary based on need. This job requires continuous standing, lifting, bending and walking. Work schedule may include days, weekends, and holidays.
