Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment efficiently to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care. Ensure all laundry items are sorted correctly by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to prevent damage and maintain quality standards. Perform routine cleaning of laundry areas and equipment to uphold safety and hygiene standards. Handle special cleaning requests such as dry cleaning or stain removal with professionalism and attention to detail. Maintain accurate records of laundry cycles, inventory levels, and supplies to support smooth daily operations. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to deliver clean linens promptly and meet guest service expectations. Follow all safety protocols and environmental guidelines related to chemical use and equipment handling. Experience Previous experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with laundry machinery, including washers, dryers, pressing machines, and dry cleaning equipment is a plus. Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and fabric care best practices. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
