Responsibilities Operate laundry machines and equipment to wash, dry, fold, and iron linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Use appropriate cleaning agents and techniques for different fabrics, including dry cleaning when necessary Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing workstations and equipment Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed Follow safety procedures related to handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents Assist with general cleaning duties around the hotel or facility to uphold high standards of hygiene and appearance Skills Proven experience with laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing Knowledge of cleaning techniques for various fabrics and familiarity with dry cleaning processes Strong attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless and properly maintained Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently Previous hotel or hospitality experience is highly desirable for understanding guest service expectations Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly enhance guest satisfaction!
