The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing, drying, folding, ironing, and organizing hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry while maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in the laundry area. Key Responsibilities Operate commercial washers, dryers, and ironing equipment safely. Sort linens, towels, uniforms, and guest laundry by color, fabric, and cleaning method. Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry for distribution. Inspect linens and clothing for stains, damage, or wear. Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and report shortages. Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards. Follow hotel procedures for handling guest laundry requests. Assist housekeeping staff with linen distribution as needed. Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues promptly. Adhere to all hotel policies, health regulations, and safety procedures. Qualifications Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hotel experience is a plus. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment. Work Environment Fast-paced hotel environment. Exposure to heat, humidity, detergents, and cleaning chemicals. May require weekends, holidays, and evening shifts. Schedule Full-time / Part-time Benefits Employee discounts Paid time off
