Job Description

We are looking for a Laundry Aide to join our 979 Crew working out of our operations office and laundry center. This person will report to our Head of Housekeeping and will be responsible for the 979 linen preparation and laundry systems upholding our cleanest and most comfortable stay standards. What You'll Do Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens. Maintain cleanliness of the linen and laundry facilities. Work well with other crew members in the successful bagging of linens for our housekeepers' pickup. Ensure that linens are properly stored and identified/tagged. Ensure that the proper procedure is followed when linen needs to be replaced or discarded. Run equipment properly with the right amounts of chemicals. Perform other duties as assigned or needed by the business.
Skills You'll Need Organizational Proficiency:
balancing competing priorities on a day to day and potentially minute by minute basis is a big part of this job. You are the linen traffic controller and correctly assessing the laundry needs at hand is important. Strong attention to detail and can work independently. Prior experience in housekeeping or laundry preferred. Key Accountability Metric Smoothness and efficiency of linen operations.
