Job Description
Job Overview The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all hotel, cabin, catering, and operational linens are cleaned, dried, folded, organized, and distributed according to Wildcatter Ranch & Resort standards. This position plays a vital role in maintaining the quality, cleanliness, and presentation of guest rooms and public areas by providing clean linens and assisting with the overall housekeeping operation. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently while maintaining a positive attitude and commitment to exceptional guest service. Duties Laundry Operations Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and organize all hotel and resort linens. Process guest room linens, towels, bath mats, robes, catering linens, and cleaning cloths. Follow proper washing procedures and chemical usage guidelines. Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and remove damaged items from circulation. Treat stains as needed before laundering. Maintain an organized linen inventory and storage area. Deliver clean linens to designated housekeeping and operational areas. Equipment Maintenance Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Clean lint traps and maintain laundry equipment daily. Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance concerns immediately. Assist with maintaining a clean and safe laundry facility. Housekeeping Support Assist housekeeping staff with linen distribution and inventory management. Help stock housekeeping closets and storage areas as needed. Support housekeeping operations during busy periods when requested. Cleanliness and Safety Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room, storage areas, and surrounding workspaces. Follow all safety procedures regarding chemicals, equipment, and lifting techniques. Ensure compliance with resort policies and standards. Assist in keeping dumpster and trash disposal areas clean and organized. Additional Duties Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area. Complete other duties as assigned by management. Assist with special cleaning projects when needed. Support resort operations during high occupancy periods and special events. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning or janitorial services, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Dependable attendance and punctuality. Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Ability to work in a warm environment around laundry equipment. Work Schedule Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
