Full-Time We are seeking a Laundry Worker to join our community committed to delivering outstanding service to our residents. As a Laundry Worker, you will play an important role in all phases of laundry services that meets or exceeds Buckner quality, service, and hospitality standards. Join our team and inspire happiness in the lives of others! What you'll do: Pick up laundry from various floors three to four times daily during shift. Pick up dirty laundry from Sagecrest and Green Houses as scheduled. Sort all dirty laundry by kind in accordance with established procedures. Weigh and load each washing machine appropriately in accordance with established procedures. Program each machine and record on laundry forms the required information. Timely deliver personal clothes and laundry to the High Rise, Sagecrest and the Green Houses. What you 'll bring : High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) preferred. Requires knowledge of procedures required to operate the Laundry in a clean, safe and sanitary manner. Requires knowledge of and ability to comply with established sanitation procedures. Requires ability to follow infection control practices that may vary to include universal precautions as well as isolation procedures. Requires proficient ability to read, write, and understand business documents which are written in English. Requires ability to understand verbal English and speak English. Requires ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers. Requires ability to make self clearly understood by others.
