Washroom Operator Specialist (PM) Central Texas Laundry - 2.9 San Antonio, TX Job Details Full-time From $15 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Teamwork Writing skills Moving Attention to detail Ability to follow instructions Full Job Description Job Overview This position is responsible for operation and monitoring of various equipment for the proper processing of textiles and linens. Duties include loading and operating CBW & Conventional washers, loading and operating commercial dryers, operation of extraction press, and moving the processed linens to the correct section of the production area. This position requires appropriate PPE to be worn when handling soiled linen.

PM Shift Schedule:
10-hour Shifts, Rotating Weekends Essential Job Functions Bending into and emptying soiled linen collection barrels. Loading linens into CBW according to the proper wash classification. Lifting soiled linens from sorting bins and loading them into conventional washer extractors, following the appropriate wash procedures. Ensuring washers, dryers, and/or press controls are set to the proper formula. Loading the washed linens into the small dryers. Setting the dryer controls to the proper drying cycle and starting the dryer, following the appropriate guidelines for drying/conditioning times. Pulling the dried linens out of the dryer and into a clean laundry cart. Moving the dried linens to the correct section of production area. Notifying maintenance staff of problems and/or dysfunctional equipment as necessary. Operation of CBW extraction press. Operate the automated shuttle control switches to ensure conveyer rails are transporting clean linen to designated equipment. Perform other duties as assigned. Transport special linen in carts to various workstations for further processing. Requirements Quality orientation and high attention to detail. Must have communication skills (reading, writing, speaking) Must be able to work weekends and holidays as scheduled. Able to lift 0-50 lbs. frequently Capable of pushing and pulling a linen cart or various equipment (over 100 lbs.) continuously throughout a shift Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations. Strong teamwork skills - ready and willing to work closely with team members. Read and follow instructions
