In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently processing all hotel linens, towels, and uniforms, maintaining a spotless and organized laundry area, and supporting the overall cleanliness of the hotel. Your dedication will directly contribute to creating a welcoming environment that guests remember and appreciate. Responsibilities Operate commercial laundry machines to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, bedding, and guest uniforms with precision and care. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform dry cleaning procedures for delicate or specialized items as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, including equipment upkeep and inventory management. Follow safety protocols to handle chemicals responsibly and prevent accidents or injuries. Assist in delivering clean linens to various hotel departments promptly and efficiently. Support the overall cleanliness of guest areas by ensuring linens are fresh, folded neatly, and available for use. Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of laundry equipment operation, including washing machines, dryers, and dry cleaning machines. Excellent attention to detail to ensure all items meet quality standards. Ability to follow safety guidelines when handling chemicals and operating machinery. Good organizational skills to manage inventory and prioritize tasks effectively. Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks with energy. Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and hotel staff.
