Laundry Aide (Part-Time)

Whitney Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time/PRN Laundry Aide for our 88-bed facility in Whitney, Texas. This role directly impacts floor flow by ensuring clean linens are always available for the clinical staff. You will manage the daily cycle of linens and personal clothing to keep shifts running smoothly. Our team relies on steady supply availability to deliver consistent resident care.

Schedule:

Part-time/PRN placement utilizing 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron facility linens and resident apparel. Load and operate commercial washing machines and dryers safely. Distribute clean linens to nursing units to ensure baseline stock levels. Clean and sanitize laundry equipment, carts, and work surfaces daily. Report any equipment malfunctions or linen shortages to the supervisor. Qualifications Experience with commercial laundry equipment is preferred. Must pass a criminal background check. Must be able to pass a drug screening. Must have reliable transportation for dependable attendance. Atmosphere & Environment Our facility contains 88 beds and is located at 101 S San Marcos St. The laundry department utilizes structured routines to stay ahead of facility needs. Floor peers and laundry staff work together to track inventory and distribute clean goods. We maintain a straightforward, functional workspace designed for efficient daily turnarounds.
