Job Summary Join our hospitality team as a Laundry Attendant, where your energy and attention to detail will ensure our guests experience the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling all laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and maintaining linen supplies. Your dedication to cleanliness and organization will contribute directly to creating a welcoming environment for our guests and supporting the overall excellence of our hotel services. Duties Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment to process linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing with precision and care. Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform dry cleaning tasks for delicate or specialized garments using appropriate solvents and techniques. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly sanitizing machines, folding stations, and storage spaces. Monitor inventory levels of linens and supplies; notify management when stock needs replenishing. Follow safety protocols for handling chemicals and operating machinery to prevent accidents or damage. Assist with other housekeeping or cleaning duties as needed to support overall hotel operations. Qualifications Prior experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Knowledge of laundry procedures including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and efficiency. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads comfortably. Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations.
