Laundry Supervisor DoubleTree by Hilton Virginia Beach - 3.6 Virginia Beach, VA Job Details Full-time From $17 an hour Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Flexible schedule Qualifications Laundry services Inventory control Machine operation High school diploma or GED Laundry Quality inspection Laundry folding Full Job Description The Laundry Attendant Supervisor is responsible for: Supervise daily laundry operations and staff Responsible for receiving dirty linen, loading it into washing machines, transferring linen to dryers and than removing accordingly. Ensure laundry is ditributed properly Dry folded linen will be neatly positioned and stacked in a clean laundry cart for removal and subsequent delivery to the client hotel for use. Operate the washing and drying machines, avoiding over loading and monitoring same for proper detergent mix and length of machine cycles. Inspects linens coming from dryers for softness, cleanliness and quality. Train and support laundry employees monitor inventory and report supply needs Ensure safety procedures and company standards are followed.
