The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of linens and garments within our establishment. As a Laundry Attendant, you will ensure that all laundry processes are executed efficiently, contributing to the overall guest experience in our Laundry industry. Responsibilities Launder and clean various types of fabrics, including linens, towels, and uniforms, ensuring they meet quality standards. Operate washing machines and dryers, following proper procedures for different fabric types. Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for easy distribution to designated areas. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Report any maintenance issues or equipment malfunctions to management promptly. Assist in inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low. Wash, dry,fold, and iron linens, napkins, and tablecloths. Wash, dry, and fold laundry according to Laundromat process. Spot treat items that need special attention. Daily cleaning the laundry store, sanitizing the washers and dryers, emptying the trash, sweep and mop the floor. Maintain all the Laundry related paperwork. Greet our customers and guests. Sell laundry supplies. Organize all the items in the store as needed. Other duties assigned. Qualifications Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred but not required. Knowledge of laundering techniques and fabric care is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
