Environmental Services Worker (Housekeeping / Laundry / Resident Transport)

Augusta Health and Rehabilitation is looking for a reliable, compassionate team member to join our Environmental Services team in a role that combines resident transportation, housekeeping, and laundry support. This position has a strong focus on transporting residents to appointments and outings when scheduled. On days when transportation needs are lighter, you'll work alongside our team to support housekeeping and laundry services throughout the facility. What You'll Do Safely transport residents to appointments and activities as needed Assist residents in and out of vehicles with care and respect Help maintain cleanliness and readiness of transport vehicles Perform housekeeping duties (resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas) Assist with laundry (sorting, washing, drying, folding, distribution) Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming environment What to Expect in This Role Some days will be transport-heavy; others will focus more on housekeeping and laundry Flexibility is important—this role shifts based on resident needs You'll stay active and engaged throughout your shift What We Need Valid Wisconsin Driver's License Clean driving record Comfortable driving residents as part of your regular duties Dependable, team-oriented, and respectful toward residents Helpful Experience (Not Required) Experience driving or transporting people Housekeeping or custodial experience Healthcare or long-term care experience Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 lbs Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching Assist residents with mobility as needed Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off Retirement options At Augusta Health and Rehabilitation, you'll be part of a team that works together to meet the needs of our residents—whether that's getting them safely to an appointment or ensuring their home is clean and comfortable.
