We need someone who can work Monday to Friday and fill in when needed on Saturday, and Sunday in the hotel laundry area as needed. Also the laundry person is requires to go strip dirty rooms of the linen and collect full linen cart from the cleaners from floors Laundry hours are 9am 12pm or longer if busy on days you work We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and other laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role is essential in supporting the overall operations of our facility, contributing to a welcoming environment for our guests and staff. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area. Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management. Ensure proper handling of chemicals and cleaning agents used in the laundry process. Collaborate with team members to meet daily laundry demands in a timely manner. Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low. Skills Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required. Knowledge of proper laundry techniques and fabric care is beneficial. Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy. Good communication skills for effective teamwork. Familiarity with kitchen operations or food service environments is a plus, including skills related to meal preparation, food handling, dietary aide responsibilities, or experience in restaurants or hotels. Basic understanding of safety protocols related to chemical handling and equipment operation.
