Responsibilities Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines with precision and care. Sort linens and garments by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results. Perform cleaning tasks including stain removal, fabric inspection, and delicate handling of special items like dry cleaning. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to promote safety and efficiency. Track laundry inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management proactively. Follow all safety protocols related to chemical handling, equipment operation, and sanitation standards. Assist with special requests from housekeeping or hotel staff to meet specific guest needs promptly. Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning techniques. Excellent attention to detail to ensure linens are spotless, well-maintained, and properly sorted. Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently while adhering to safety guidelines. Good organizational skills for managing linen inventory and maintaining a clean work environment. Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks with precision.
