Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team at the Holiday Inn Madison-The American Center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments, particularly in a hotel environment. A passion for cleanliness and an eye for detail are crucial for success in this position. Duties Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment to clean, dry, and finish items according to established procedures. Sort, wash, dry, fold, linens per hotel specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management. Adhere to safety standards while handling chemicals and operating machinery. Provide excellent service by ensuring timely completion of laundry tasks to meet guest needs. Experience Previous experience in a laundry attendant role or similar position is preferred but not required. Experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
