Duties Operate laundry machines such as washers, dryers, and specialty cleaning equipment with precision and care Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics and special materials like dry cleaning items Perform cleaning tasks including folding, ironing, and preparing linens and garments for guest use or storage Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by organizing supplies and ensuring equipment is sanitized regularly Assist with dry cleaning processes when necessary, following established procedures for stain removal and fabric care Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when restocking is needed Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment during all laundry operations Requirements Proven experience in laundry services or hotel housekeeping preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided Knowledge of laundry techniques including washing, drying, folding, and dry cleaning processes Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are cleaned thoroughly and presented impeccably Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy loads of linens or garments Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple loads efficiently while maintaining quality standards Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures related to laundry operations Prior experience in hotel or hospitality settings is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential Embark on a rewarding journey with us where your dedication to cleanliness helps shape memorable guest experiences.
