Keep Laundry Clean & Organized:
Wash, dry, fold, and properly label resident clothing and community linens. Sort laundry according to care instructions and infection-control standards. Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Distribute clean laundry to resident rooms and designated storage areas.
Support Resident Comfort & Dignity:
Handle personal clothing and linens with care, respect, and attention to detail. Follow resident preferences and schedules when applicable. Promptly report missing, damaged, or mislabeled items to leadership. Maintain a
Safe & Efficient Laundry Area:
Keep laundry rooms clean, organized, and well-stocked. Monitor supplies and notify leadership when restocking is needed. Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures. Identify and report equipment issues or maintenance concerns. Be a
Team Player:
Collaborate with housekeeping, caregiving, and leadership teams as needed. Assist with special projects, deep cleans, or increased laundry needs. Treat residents, families, and coworkers with kindness, dignity, and respect. What You Bring to the Table (Besides Great Folding Skills) ✔
Experience & Skills:
Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required—we will train the right person! Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures. Dependable, organized, and able to manage time effectively. ✔
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout a shift. Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds. Comfortable working in a warm environment and handling repetitive tasks. ✔
