Duties Operate commercial laundry equipment to wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, uniforms, and other fabric items with precision and care Sort laundry items according to color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements to ensure optimal results Perform specialized cleaning tasks such as dry cleaning or stain removal when necessary Maintain cleanliness of laundry areas by regularly sanitizing machines, work surfaces, and storage spaces Monitor laundry cycles for quality control, ensuring all items meet cleanliness standards before returning them to designated areas Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying supervisors when stock levels are low Follow safety procedures and proper handling techniques for chemicals and equipment to ensure a safe working environment Skills Proven experience in laundry operations or hotel housekeeping is highly desirable Strong knowledge of laundry processes including washing, drying, folding, and stain treatment Ability to operate commercial laundry machines efficiently and safely Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency in cleaning results Good organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols related to laundry services Willingness to work flexible shifts including weekends or holidays as needed Embark on a rewarding career where your efforts directly enhance guest satisfaction!
