Sadie Rose, a solo contemporary artist with a growing fanbase, is looking for a dependable, personable, and art-savvy Gallery Associate to help run and actively sell artwork in her vibrant and sun-drenched gallery nestled literally above the waves at The Cliff Restaurant in Laguna Beach. This isn't your typical retail gig—this is a chance to be part of an immersive creative space where the artwork changes with the tides and every day brings new visitors, collectors, and conversations. What You'll Be Doing Open and close the gallery each day with care and professionalism Greet guests warmly and confidently speak about the artwork to help drive sales Actively engage with visitors to convert interest into sales Manage art sales, handle POS system, and package purchases with care Keep the gallery clean, organized, and visually stunning at all times Update daily logs, track sales and visitor engagement Assist with special events like openings, live painting sessions, and sunset soirees Create light content (photos/videos) for social media if comfortable Be a trustworthy steward of both the art and the experience Who You Are Friendly, professional, and reliable Enthusiastic about art and good with people (no art degree required—just curiosity and passion) Comfortable working independently and taking initiative Comfortable with sales and engaging people in conversation Able to multitask in a calm, composed way—even when it's busy Sales experience is a plus, but positive vibes are even better Weekend and holiday availability preferred (this is Laguna Beach, after all!)
