is a luxury portrait photography studio in Marin County. We're looking for a Hair & Makeup Artist to join our team and elevate our clients' experience. The Role As our on-call Hair & Makeup Artist, you will prepare clients for their portrait sessions by creating camera-ready looks designed to perform under studio lighting. Hair styling will include polished techniques such as curling, straightening, and other basic techniques. Each appointment requires hair and makeup completed within a 1-hour window per person. You must supply your own professional-grade tools and products. What We're Looking For Proven experience in hair and makeup artistry, particularly for photography or on-camera work Ability to create natural, polished, camera-friendly makeup looks Hair styling experience with a focus on clean, elegant techniques Able to work efficiently under time constraints while maintaining a high standard of quality Punctual, reliable, and skilled at creating a calm and welcoming experience for clients

Compensation & Details Job Type:

Contract Pay:

$70-$80/hr with a 3-hour daily minimum ($210-$240/day minimum)

Schedule:

On call, weekdays and some weekends

In person — main studio in San Rafael and on-location throughout the

San Francisco Bay Area Pay:

$70.00 - $80.00 per hour
