ABOUT THE POSITION
This is a position designed to respect the expertise and professionalism of experienced Independent Professionals, while making your high-quality service more accessible and convenient to the masses. We know it can be difficult to find clients that respect your artistry, and our job is to bring these clients to you. We don't micromanage, nitpick — we deeply respect the wealth of experience you bring. We provide scheduling software, customer service & billing support, a fully stocked lash studio — all you need to bring are your tweezers and lash artistry skills. For contract Artists, there is no hassle of finding clients, texting back and forth, stocking your cart, or handling no-shows. The Lash Lab simply exists to support you as you perform your best work. Think of it as having your own dedicated salon assistant, manger, and receptionist all for free. Maintain your independence — work within your own private studio . Bring your existing clientele, or once you're familiar with our designs and service protocol, we can begin to match interested clients with your expertise. You'll be able to work independently within one of our conveniently located studios around the Baltimore area. All clients are booked through The Lash Lab's membership system and remain part of the studio's client base. Because we closely track client retention, this role is not suited for Artists looking to build or transfer clients to their own books.SCHEDULE
You'll also enjoy full control of your schedule without any long-term commitments- you can work as much or as little as you would like. We are the perfect supplement to your existing calendar if you're looking to bring in more earnings, especially right before the holiday season. You can be your own boss and design your own schedule

BENEFITS
Enjoy the Flexibility to Design your own Schedule Competitive pay + gratuity, as well as sales commissions for any clients you personally refer to the studio. Earnings will be average out to approximately $60.00-90.00 per hour for Freelance Artists, and up to $150 per hour for Artists with existing clientele. We can also provide payment for No-Shows, and competitive commissions on retail. Opportunities for bonuses and advancement within the company. JOB DUTIES
- Provide eyelash extension and lift services to clients, including application, maintenance, and removal
- Exhibit professionalism and respect in all communication and behavior toward clients, colleagues, and management.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer services to ensure client satisfaction
- Educate clients on proper lash care and upsell additional services
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all safety and sanitation guidelines
REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstrated experience in providing professional, White-Glove client service and ensure client satisfaction within luxury environments
- Passion for the beauty, fashion, wellness, and/or lifestyle industries.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness, professionalism, and efficiency in the workspace by adhering to strict safety and sanitation guidelines
- Dependability, reliability, honesty, and punctuality—non-negotiable
- Experience as a Lash Artist, Lash Technician, Lash Tech, Lash Esthetician, Nice to
Have:
- At least 1 year of professional experience in applying eyelash extensions and lift services with precision and expertise (In-salon experience strongly preferred)
- Professional References that can attest to your success within luxury salon settings
- Experience with advanced lashing techniques such as lashing in layers, applying extensions to the lower lash line
- Knowledge of other beauty treatments such as brow design, permanent makeup, waxing, and skin aesthetics is a plus
- Experience as a Lash Artist, Lash Technician, Lash Tech, Lash Esthetician, Cosmetologist, Beauty Retail Sales Associate, Salon or Spa Receptionist, Fashion or Lifestyle Sales Associate, Retail Manager, or similar role To excel in this role, you should have a passion for beauty and a strong desire to enhance the natural beauty of our clients.
