Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Wax technician to join our team. As a team member at VELVET, you must have a valid Virginia or Maryland Esthetics, Cosmetology or Wax Technician license/certificate, and be knowledgable about or willing to be trained in full body sugaring and waxing.Responsibilities:
- Conduct body waxing/ sugaring services, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction
- Manage social media accounts to promote services and engage with clients
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Perform eyelash lifts, brow laminations and brow and lash tints
- Sell retail with full understanding of each product and how to use them
Qualifications:
- Valid license in the state of Virginia. Must Have Experience in Sugaring
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficient in using Square or similar salon management software
- Knowledge of various skincare products and their benefits
- Familiarity with social media platforms for business promotion
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
