Duties Perform a variety of professional nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care Apply knowledge of color theory to recommend shades and designs that complement each client's style and preferences Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations Provide excellent customer service by listening to client needs, offering expert advice on nail care, and creating a welcoming atmosphere Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and business growth Stay current on the latest trends in nail art, techniques like gel extensions or body waxing, and esthetic laser treatments to offer innovative services Assist with retail sales transactions using retail math skills to ensure accurate billing and inventory management Experience Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within a fast-paced salon or spa environment Strong knowledge of nail care techniques including gel application, acrylics, nail art, and sanitation procedures Familiarity with color theory, esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, body waxing, dermabrasion, barbering and other beauty services is a plus Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and team members Ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining a focus on customer satisfaction Certification in cosmetology or related field required; additional training in esthetic treatments or advanced nail techniques is advantageous Embark on a rewarding career where your creativity meets exceptional service!
