Job Overview We are seeking a talented and energetic Manicurist and Pedicurist to join our vibrant beauty team! In this role, you will deliver exceptional nail care services that leave clients feeling pampered, confident, and beautiful. Your expertise in nail treatments, combined with your passion for customer service and sanitation, will help create a welcoming environment where clients return time and again. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills in a dynamic salon setting, contributing to clients' overall wellness and style. Responsibilities Perform professional manicure and pedicure treatments using the latest techniques and products to ensure client satisfaction. Apply color theory principles to recommend nail polish shades and designs that complement clients' skin tones and personal styles. Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools, disinfecting workstations, and adhering to health regulations to ensure client safety. Provide additional beauty services such as nail art, gel polish application, acrylics, or enhancements like eyelash extensions or body waxing as needed. Offer personalized consultations to understand client preferences, suggest suitable treatments, and educate on nail care routines. Upsell retail products such as nail care items, skincare products, or hair extensions to enhance client experience and increase sales revenue. Stay updated on current trends in nail art, esthetic laser treatments, hair styling, and other beauty services to provide innovative options for clients. Qualifications Proven experience in cosmetology with a focus on nail care; certification as a manicurist/pedicurist required. Knowledge of color theory, nail art techniques, and various manicure/pedicure procedures. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients. Familiarity with sanitation practices and health regulations relevant to beauty services. Additional skills such as hair threading, hair extensions, dermabrasion, or esthetic laser treatments are a plus. Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a professional attitude. Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping clients look and feel their best.
