Nail Technician

Responsibilities Provide professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity. Stay current on the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and innovative techniques to offer fresh options to clients. Maintain strict sanitation and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable treatments or enhancements such as eyelash extensions or body waxing. Upsell retail products like nail polishes, skincare items, and other beauty essentials to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Assist with retail sales by educating clients on product benefits and usage while providing excellent customer service. Keep detailed records of services performed, client preferences, and treatment plans for personalized care. Qualifications Proven experience as a Nail Technician with knowledge of various nail care techniques and styles. Strong understanding of color theory to create visually appealing designs. Excellent communication skills to connect with clients and understand their needs effectively. Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a clean workspace. Cosmetology license or relevant certification required by local regulations. Familiarity with additional beauty services such as hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, esthetic laser treatments, dermabrasion, or barbering is a plus. Ability to upsell products confidently while providing outstanding customer service. Passion for continuous learning about new trends in nail art and beauty treatments.
