Position Summary The Bath Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and overall guest experience within the spa bathing, locker room, and relaxation areas. This role ensures all guest amenities, hydrotherapy spaces, and spa support areas remain fully stocked, sanitized, and aligned with The Standard's spa standards. The Bath Attendant anticipates guest needs, provides guidance throughout the spa experience, and supports the spa team through attentive service, cleanliness, and operational support. Key Responsibilities Welcome and assist guests throughout spa and hydrotherapy areas. Guide guests through bathing and locker room facilities and explain spa experiences when needed. Anticipate guest needs and provide attentive, professional service at all times. Maintain positive guest relations and promptly resolve concerns when possible. Maintain confidentiality of guest information and resort operations. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all spa, locker room, bathing, and relaxation areas. Inspect and prepare bathing areas before and after guest use. Empty soaking tubs and sanitize all bathing surfaces. Maintain clean, stocked lockers with robes, sandals, towels, and amenities. Monitor and restock refreshment stations, tea service areas, and water stations. Inspect and clean bathrooms, mirrors, sinks, showers, floors, and other spa surfaces continuously throughout the shift. Replace towels, linens, robes, and guest amenities as needed. Empty trash and remove used linens and service items throughout the day. Transport cleaning supplies, linens, and spa amenities throughout the property as needed. Assist therapists with linen removal and treatment room stocking. Maintain storage areas and ensure operational supplies are organized and stocked. Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and functioning as intended. Monitor facilities for maintenance concerns and report issues to management promptly. Ensure all safety signage and emergency equipment are present and properly maintained. Turn over lost and found items according to company procedures. Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, spa procedures, and safety standards. Use cleaning chemicals properly in accordance with OSHA and company regulations. Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols. Maintain professional grooming, body language, and guest interaction standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Previous hospitality, housekeeping, spa, or guest service experience preferred. Previous spa or wellness experience preferred. CPR Certification required (or ability to obtain). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Calm, professional, and guest-focused demeanor. Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of proper chemical handling and cleaning procedures preferred. Fluency in English required; Spanish preferred. Exposure to cleaning chemicals, moisture, dust, and various spa-related environmental conditions. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods of time. Ability to walk throughout the property and spa areas continuously. Ability to bend, kneel, stretch, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks. Ability to lift, push, pull, and transport up to 40 pounds of linens, supplies, and equipment. Ability to safely handle cleaning products and operational equipment.
