Nail Technician Job Description Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Nail Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Nail Technician, you will provide high-quality nail care services to our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and promoting a relaxing and enjoyable experience. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the salon while also having the opportunity to upsell additional services and products. Duties Perform a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, and nail enhancements. Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations. Provide body waxing services as needed, ensuring client comfort and satisfaction. Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory effectively and assist with retail sales. Educate clients on proper nail care techniques and recommend products for home use. Upsell additional services such as hair extensions or dermabrasion treatments when appropriate. Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote a professional environment. Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments. Requirements Valid cosmetology or nail technician license as required by state regulations. Proficiency in various nail care techniques, including but not limited to manicures, pedicures, and nail art. Knowledge of body waxing techniques is preferred but not mandatory. Strong retail sales skills with an ability to engage clients in upselling additional services or products. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members. Attention to detail with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
