Duties Perform a variety of nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care Apply and maintain nail enhancements such as extensions, overlays, and intricate designs using the latest techniques Educate clients on proper nail care routines and recommend suitable treatments to enhance their natural beauty Maintain strict sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment at all times Assist clients with selecting colors, styles, and designs that match their personal preferences and occasions Upsell additional services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and revenue Keep detailed records of treatments performed and client preferences for future appointments Skills Strong knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing nail designs and art Excellent customer service skills to build rapport and ensure a positive experience for every client Proficiency in sanitation practices to uphold health standards and safety regulations Formal training in cosmetology or esthetician certification with specialization in nail care Experience with advanced techniques such as gel application, acrylics, nail art, and body waxing Ability to perform hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, and barbering as optional complementary services Knowledge of retail sales principles including upselling techniques to promote products like nail polish, skincare items, or retail accessories Familiarity with retail math to manage product inventory and sales transactions effectively Understanding of dermabrasion procedures for skin exfoliation treatments when applicable Strong communication skills to educate clients about services and recommend personalized solutions Embark on a rewarding career where your artistry makes a difference!
