Full Job Description Position Overview:
The Area Nail Technician will support At Risk Foot Care and Routine Foot care appointments for the Doctor's across all Area Offices. This position will also be cross trained with Medical Assisting and Front Desk workflows.
Job Type:
Full-time Clinic hours vary by location (Monday - Friday) Essential Functions/Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned): Perform routine and at-risk foot care pedicures in a clinical setting Treat all patients with compassion, professionalism, and respect Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized workspace Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized workspace Comply with state board regulations and health/safety guidelines Maintain accurate cleaning logs, autoclave logs, and sanitation records Support clinic staff with scheduling, appointment management, and patient documentation Scheduling appointments Enter salon worksheet data accurately into electronic systems Cross-train and assist with medical assistant or front desk tasks as needed Perform other duties as assigned
Required Education, Skills and Experience:
Active manicurist or cosmetologist license from the designated state 2+ years of professional experience as a pedicurist or nail technician Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, other employees, and the public Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Strong communication and customer service skills Must have a team mentality, flexibility and willingness to learn Must be dependable, punctual, and have a team-first attitude Knowledge of HIPAA and commitment to patient privacy Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft 365 products, including
Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams Benefits Offered:
