Duties Perform professional nail care services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by sterilizing tools and ensuring a clean work environment in compliance with health regulations Stay current on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products to provide innovative services that excite clients Upsell additional services such as hand or foot treatments, body waxing, eyelash extensions, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue Manage retail sales of nail products and beauty accessories through effective communication and product knowledge Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of workstations and ensure all equipment is properly sanitized after each use Requirements Valid cosmetology license or certification with specialization in nail technology (requirements vary by location) Strong knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing nail designs and art Experience with various nail care techniques including gel application, acrylics, and intricate nail art Excellent communication skills to engage clients professionally and understand their needs clearly Knowledge of sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and ensure client safety Ability to perform multiple services efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure Familiarity with retail math for upselling products effectively is a plus Additional skills such as hair extensions, hair styling, eyelash extensions, dermabrasion, body waxing, hair threading, esthetic laser treatment, barbering, or retail sales are desirable but not mandatory We're dedicated to empowering our team members by providing ongoing training opportunities that enhance your expertise in nail care and beauty services.
