Nail Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and talented Nail Technician to join our vibrant beauty team! In this role, you will deliver expert nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, and advanced treatments, ensuring each guest leaves feeling pampered and confident. Must be willing to come spend june through September in block island. Housing is provide. This is a seasonal position. Duties Perform a variety of nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by thoroughly cleaning tools and workstations in accordance with health regulations Engage with clients through personalized consultations on nail care, color theory, and the latest trends in nail fashion. Upsell retail products such as nail polishes, skincare items, and treatment packages to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue. Promote salon services via social media management strategies to attract new clients and retain loyal guests. Assist at the front desk by greeting guests, answering inquiries, and ensuring a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. Conduct product demos and educate clients on proper nail care routines for long-lasting results. Collaborate with team members on new techniques like hair extensions or eyelash extensions to expand service offerings. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license with specialized training in nail care required; additional certifications in esthetic laser treatment or tattooing are a plus. Proven experience as a Nail Technician or similar role within a fast-paced salon or spa environment Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide exceptional customer service and build lasting client relationships. Familiarity with sanitation protocols and safety standards essential for maintaining a hygienic workspace. Experience with retail sales, upselling techniques, and social media management to grow the client base effectively.
