Duties Perform a variety of nail treatments including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and artistry Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail designs or enhancements Maintain strict sanitation protocols to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for clients and staff Stay current on the latest trends in nail art, color theory, and innovative techniques such as nail extensions and dermabrasion Upsell retail products like nail care items, lotions, and polishes to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales Assist clients with additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments when qualified Manage appointment schedules efficiently while providing excellent customer service that fosters loyalty and repeat business Experience Valid cosmetology license with specialization in nail technology from an accredited program Proven experience in performing diverse nail services including gel application, acrylics, and intricate nail art Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices for maintaining a sterile workspace Familiarity with color theory to create visually appealing designs tailored to each client's style Strong communication skills to effectively understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations Experience with retail sales techniques including upselling products to enhance the client experience Additional skills such as hair styling, hair extensions, barbering, eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments are a plus but not required Embark on a rewarding career where your talent transforms everyday beauty routines into extraordinary experiences.
