In this role, you will inspire and guide aspiring nail technicians by delivering comprehensive training on advanced manicure techniques, nail care, and aesthetic treatments. Your expertise will empower students to excel in their careers, combining hands-on instruction with engaging lesson planning. Responsibilities Deliver engaging classroom instruction on manicure techniques, nail care, and related aesthetic treatments such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, and facials. Develop detailed lesson plans that incorporate practical demonstrations and theoretical knowledge to ensure comprehensive student understanding. Teach specialized skills including trigger point therapy, anatomy knowledge related to nail and skin health, hair extensions, hair coloring, hair threading, and esthetic laser treatments. Provide hands-on training in advanced nail care procedures such as gel nails, acrylics, and dermabrasion techniques. Assess student progress through practical evaluations and theoretical exams; offer constructive feedback to foster improvement. Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment adhering to health regulations; ensure all tools and equipment are sanitized and properly maintained. Stay current with industry trends and new techniques to continuously enhance curriculum quality and relevance. Experience Proven classroom experience in cosmetology or esthetic education with a focus on nail care or related beauty disciplines. Extensive hands-on experience as a manicurist or nail technician with expertise in nail care, eyelash extensions, facials, makeup application, and other aesthetic treatments. Strong knowledge of anatomy related to skin, nails, and muscles; familiarity with trigger point therapy is a plus. Demonstrated ability to teach adult learners effectively through lesson planning and interactive instruction methods.
