Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and creativity Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure client safety and hygiene Consult with clients to understand their preferences, recommend suitable treatments, and provide personalized beauty advice Stay current on the latest nail trends, techniques, and products to continually enhance your service offerings Assist with retail sales by recommending nail care products and other beauty items that meet client needs Uphold professional standards of communication, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat visits Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the salon or spa area to create an inviting atmosphere Skills Strong knowledge of color theory to create visually appealing nail designs and art Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with clients Proficiency in sanitation practices to maintain a safe and hygienic environment for all clients Formal training or certification in cosmetology or esthetician programs with specialization in nail care Experience with advanced techniques such as eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair extensions, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, and esthetic laser treatments is a plus Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining genuine client relationships Familiarity with retail math for managing product inventory and sales transactions Knowledge of barbering techniques is advantageous for offering additional grooming services Exceptional communication skills to educate clients about treatments and promote ongoing salon services Join us as a Nail Technician where your artistry meets exceptional service!
