Responsibilities Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care. Provide expert advice on nail health, maintenance, and color choices based on clients' preferences and skin tones. Maintain strict sanitation standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff. Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and innovative techniques such as 3D nail art or embellishments. Upsell additional services like hand or foot massages, paraffin treatments, or retail nail products to enhance client satisfaction. Build strong relationships through excellent communication skills, ensuring clients feel valued and understood during their visit. Manage retail sales of nail care products and accessories while demonstrating effective retail math skills to meet sales goals. Qualifications Valid cosmetology license with certification in nail technology or related credentials as required by local regulations. Proven experience in performing diverse nail services with attention to detail and artistic flair. Knowledge of sanitation procedures and commitment to maintaining a hygienic workspace. Familiarity with advanced treatments such as esthetic laser therapy or dermabrasion is a plus but not required. Strong communication skills to effectively educate clients about services and product recommendations. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends in a fast-paced environment. Additional skills such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, or barbering are advantageous but not mandatory.
