Company Overview Marcella NYC is a dynamic and growing direct-to-consumer (DTC) e-commerce brand dedicated to designing minimalist fashion for women. Our products are European handcrafted, and we are committed to supporting women and girls globally through our mission-driven initiatives. Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated fit model to help our design team during development. The fit model plays a vital role in the development of our fashion collections by providing accurate body measurements and fitting feedback during sample creation to ensure proper pattern amendments and grading. The right candidate should be a true size medium with either the exact or close measurements within a one inch tolerance. Please measure yourself before applying. We are looking for a candidate to start in May.

40"/101.6 cm Responsibilities Try on sample garments during various stages of the design process to assess fit, comfort, and overall appearance Provide detailed feedback on garment fit, feel, fabric behavior & style to designer & creative director Collaborate with the design team to suggest adjustments that improve fit and functionality Maintain professionalism during fittings, demonstrating confidence in fitting procedures and communication Participate in fittings twice a week for 1.5 hrs-2 hrs per session on a fixed schedule Tuesday-Thursday Previous fit modeling experience is preferred, but not required. Experience Prior experience as a fit model or in a similar role within the fashion industry is preferred, but not required Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate feedback clearly and professionally Knowledge of garment construction, fabric properties, and pattern fitting techniques is advantageous Ability to work collaboratively within a creative team environment while maintaining attention to detail
