Job Description

This is your opportunity to bring your styling expertise to productions that actually matter. As a contract On-Figure & Off-Figure Stylist with Directions USA , you'll be working alongside top photographers and creative directors on campaigns for major national and global brands — the kind of work that ends up in front of millions of eyes. We're looking for a detail-obsessed professional who understands that great styling is the difference between imagery that converts and imagery that gets scrolled past. You will need to be located in NC, SC or open to work in GA & VA. We are open to national stylist, but our biggest need is local. If you can make a flat lay sing and a model look effortlessly polished, we want you on our team. What you'll do Execute high-volume styling for e-commerce and lifestyle photography shoots for major brand clients, ensuring every image meets the highest visual merchandising standards Style apparel and accessories for both on-figure (model) and off-figure formats including stacks, flats, and tabletop product arrangements Prepare and finish garments using steaming, pinning, clipping, and professional techniques to achieve the best possible fit and presentation on camera Collaborate with photographers, art directors, and production teams on brand campaigns where visual consistency and quality are non-negotiable Manage garment organization, tracking, and care throughout the shoot day to keep high-volume productions running smoothly Job Requirements Proven experience in e-commerce studio styling, with a strong portfolio demonstrating both on-figure and off-figure work Deep understanding of visual merchandising standards and how apparel and product photography serves the customer experience at scale Expert garment handling skills — steaming, pinning, clipping, and tailoring on set are second nature to you Ability to deliver consistent, high-quality work under the pace and pressure of major brand productions Comfortable operating as an independent contractor — self-directed, reliable, and communicative about availability A collaborative, team-first attitude — you communicate clearly, adapt quickly, and bring great energy to set How to apply Send a detailed resume and a link to your portfolio to adrienne@directionsusa.com.
