Marketing Full Job Description SThree Wellness Location:
Orlando, FL (Hybrid Remote)
Job Type:
Part-Time (15-25 hours per week)
Pay:
$20 - $30 per hour Job Description SThree Wellness is a private luxury wellness studio in Orlando built on three pillars: Sports, Spa, and Smoothies. We blend high-performance fitness, hands-on bodywork, functional nutrition, and now — sports media — into one elevated brand. Our newest venture, Underrated , is an all-encompassing sports podcast hosted by Coach Howard. The show breaks down the film on overlooked athletes across the NBA, WNBA, NFL, tennis, college sports, combat sports, and beyond. No hot takes. No drama. Just X's and O's, tape analysis, and the truth about who's really elite. We're looking for a sports-obsessed, camera-ready Sports Journalism Assistant to help us launch and grow this show from the ground up. What You'll Be Doing Researching underrated athletes across multiple sports and gathering stats, narratives, and game footage Assisting with episode outlines, segment scripts, and show notes Setting up and assisting with podcast recordings — green screen, lighting, audio, highlight playback Editing full-length episodes and cutting short-form clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts Appearing on camera as needed for segments, co-hosting, debates, or guest spots Managing a content calendar aligned with sports seasons, playoffs, and major events Writing episode descriptions, social captions, and thread-style breakdowns Monitoring sports news and trending narratives to keep the show timely and relevant What We're Looking For Deep knowledge of at least two major sports and a hunger to learn the rest Strong writing and research skills — you can break down a player's game with detail and clarity Basic video editing proficiency (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, or similar) Comfortable being on camera and representing the brand publicly Ability to source and organize game footage from league archives, YouTube, or subscription services Self-starter who thrives working independently in a fast-moving startup environment Based in or willing to commute to Orlando, FL for in-studio shoot days (1-2 times per week) Bonus Points (Not Required): Prior experience in sports journalism, blogging, student media, or content creation Familiarity with green screen production and OBS or similar software Experience managing sports-focused social media accounts Knowledge of advanced basketball or football analytics Interest in women's sports — WNBA, women's tennis, gymnastics, etc. Who You Are You don't just watch sports — you study them. You notice the guard who changes pace without losing vision. The linebacker who diagnoses the play before the snap. The gymnast whose routine never gets the score it deserves. You believe the best stories aren't about the superstars — they're about the overlooked talent that wins games when no one's watching. You're organized enough to manage a weekly content pipeline, creative enough to write scripts that sound like conversation, confident enough to jump on camera when the moment calls, and humble enough to take direct feedback from a coach who moves with conviction. What We Offer $20 - $30 per hour 15-25 hours per week with a flexible hybrid schedule In-studio shoot days 1-2 times per week — remote work the rest Complimentary or discounted access to select SThree Wellness services Direct mentorship from Coach Howard Room to grow — this role can expand into a lead producer, on-air talent, or head of sports media as the brand scales SThree Wellness is an equal opportunity employer. We believe great teams are built with people from all walks of life — and all sports fandoms.
