Job Responsibilities:
Must be available to work at a minimum of three full shifts per week
  • Applicant to specify desired shifts Greet members at the member services desk with a strong commitment to help improve the health and wellbeing of members and guests 25% Help create a culture of wellness by role modeling healthy behaviors; provide excellent customer service; and provide tours for guests and prospective members 15% Process point of sale credit card transactions including selling guest passes and memberships; inputs transactions in the member management system 10% Uphold safety and cleaning policies and clean equipment 10% Manages the lobby area to ensure that it is clean and organized; contacts housekeeping as needed 10% Answers member questions, provide assistance to participants in the Cardio, Weight Room, and other fitness areas 10% Offer new member equipment instruction 5% Serve as Program Assistant as needed and complete all required training 5% Performs opening and closing operational procedures as needed 5% Performs other duties as required 5%
Qualifications:
Must be a current student at the Medical University of South Carolina. Must have or be able to obtain CPR/AED certification within 60 days of being hired.
