This position is the first touchpoint (voice call, smiling face upon entry) that a customer has with the salon and sets the tone for their visit.

Require fast, critical thinking to resolve problems. The Responsibilities Front Desk Reception- Smile and greet each client and coworker warmly upon their arrival, manage scheduling (via phone, in-person, text, social media messages and email), manage email account via Outlook, intake and consultation digital form management, service provider notifications, voicemail management, light cleaning (maintain tidy front desk). Office/Admin
- Register drawer management, assist MedSpa & Salon Coordinator with product inventory management and ordering, maintain plant watering schedule. Social
- manage & respond to review responses across all platforms (Google, Instagram, Facebook, Yelp, In House via HyperConnect, etc). Managers are responsible for salon content but ensure that stories and posts are made each day. At least one story/day by noon. Stocking
- Check twice daily to ensure bathrooms are in proper order and refill toiletries, station areas and front desk supplies, inventory should be done weekly.
Daily Duties Morning:
Clock in Unlock back door Grab till and make sure change is correctCourse of Day:
Notify service providers of client's arrival with Zenoti and/or in person Check email via Outlook- Answer questions, schedule appointments, upsell to customers (achieved monthly product sales goal) Roll-up any important communication to your team leader (Salon Coordinator, Salon Manager, Salon Owner) Check social media
- Facebook/Instagram messages Answer questions Schedule appointments, etc Check HyperConnect for voicemails and texts Return calls Answer texts Manage digital consent forms upon client check in to ensure they are filled out appropriately
- these should all be done on an iPad for both You MedSpa & Salon Before 12pm: post story to Instagram/Facebook
- coordinate with managers Respond to all reviews with thoughtful details
- Google, Facebook, Instagram, Yelp, In House via HyperConnect, etc. Any review with 2 stars or less
- alert Salon Coordinator Check retail product inventory, restock and note what's needed to order
End of Day:
Straighten desk and front area Take out trash Record any product credits received or used Cash drop- with print out, note drop amount (explain any discrepancies) and sign off on it Lock back door Clock out Educational Expectations Stay up to date on all current product lines and salon service offerings. Be educated and understand how to walk a client through You MedSpa & Salon services
