Grand Junction's first Blow Dry Salon is looking to hire a Senior stylist to manage the salon & help our clients leave feeling amazing! Our core values revolve around respect for our clients and our team. Great complimentary part time job if you are booth renting Get paid hourly while building your clientele ($20 average per hour with tips) Network with other stylists Educational opportunities from Amika Work in a beautiful atmosphere Part Time positions (Friday & Saturdays a must) Responsibilities Work with clients to create an amazing experience from start to finish Build out education opportunities for staff Manage staff needs & scheduling Perform blow outs, up-dos, braids Work closely with all staff members to ensure all clients love their experience from start to finish Create a salon that is beautiful, clean and welcoming Clean and maintain hair styling tools, brushes, and makeup applicators Check in & check out clients at reception desk Skills Experience as a hair stylist (5+ years ideal) Knowledge of hair styling (blowouts, braids, up-dos) Understanding of health and safety rules for Cosmetology Great communication and customer service skills Attention to detail Positive attitude & enjoys working in a team environment Diploma from a vocational school in cosmetology
